Copyright & Content Rights

Who owns what: your photos are yours, the licence MaziFlow needs to host them, and what we never do with them.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Draft for legal review. This text describes how MaziFlow works today and will be finalised, with our full company details, before commercial launch.

1.Your content stays yours

Everything a guest uploads belongs to whoever owns it by law — usually the person who took the photo or video. Uploading transfers no ownership to MaziFlow, to the organiser or to anyone else.

MaziFlow is a tool the organiser uses to collect those files; we claim no rights in them.

2.The licence we need, and nothing more

To run the service we need a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, resize, transcode and display the content within the event it was uploaded to, and to include it in the organiser's downloads, for as long as the event is available and for the technical deletion period afterwards. That licence exists only to provide the service and ends when the content is deleted.

We take no licence to use any content in our own marketing, on our website or on social media. We would only ever do that with the separate, explicit, written permission of the people entitled to give it — and never as a condition of using the product.

3.The organiser's responsibilities

The organiser is responsible for how the QR is shared and for the content shown on the wall. The organiser must not upload, or allow to be shown, content they have no right to share, and must act on legitimate requests from people who appear in it.

Showing a QR code at an event does not by itself obtain anyone's consent to be photographed or to have their image shared. Where consent is needed under the law that applies to the event, it is the organiser's responsibility to obtain it.

4.Guests' permissions

By uploading, a guest confirms that they own the content or have the right to share it for this event, and that it respects the people in it. The Event Media and Guest Upload Terms say exactly what a guest confirms.

5.Trademarks and the website

The MaziFlow name, logo and website are ours and may not be copied or used to suggest an affiliation. The illustrative images on our public pages are either licensed or generated for us; they show no customer's event.

6.Infringement

If content infringes your copyright or your image rights, use the Report a problem form or write to info@maziflow.gr with enough detail to find it. The Content Reporting and Takedown Procedure says what we do and how quickly.
